POWER RESTORATION UPDATE 11/2/2011 10:00PM
Power Outage Information  11/2/2011 10:00PM
  • According to National Grid, there are currently 3,616 customers in Westford without power.  National Grid had 25 line crews and 15 tree crews in town today and more are expected tomorrow.  
  • If your electrical service has been detached from your house, you will need to contact a licensed electrician to reattach the electrical service.  The licensed electrician must contact the Westford Wire Department 978-692-5527.

  • Please contact National Grid to report any power outages.  1-800-322-3223.
Shelter Information
  • Emergency shelter is available at the Blanchard Middle School 978-692-2161.  
  • Cameron Senior Center is open as a warming shelter until 4pm daily.
Brush Removal Information
  • A brush drop-off center will be activated at the Forge Village Ballfield located on West Prescott Street starting on Saturday, November 5, 2011.  Click here for details or call the Westford Highway Department.
  • Please do not drag any trees or debris on or near the roadway.  
Announcements
  • Westford Public Schools are closed on Thursday 11/2/2011.
  • Frequent updates are available on the town website and on the Police Department Facebook and Twitter.   You can also call 978-399-2067 to listen to  recorded message with updated information.
  • J.V. Fletcher Library has reopened and will go back to regularly scheduled hours.
  • Taxes due November 1st will be considered paid on time if received in the Tax Collector's office by 4pm on November 4, 2011.
  • Halloween Trick or Treating is postponed until Sunday 11/6/2011 at 5pm.
