Pedestrian Safety Committee
The Board of Selectmen is seeking residents interested in being appointed to the Pedestrian Safety Committee.  The committee will be charged with identifying and evaluating options for improving pedestrian safety in Westford. Such options might include, but are not limited to: sidewalks, paths, crosswalks, speed bumps, speed and other warning devices, bicycle lanes, and pedestrian and driver education. The evaluation process shall consider not only the effectiveness of each option for pedestrian safety, but also the cost of each option and possible funding sources. The Committee shall present recommendations to the Board of Selectmen.
