Edwards Beach is closed today for swimming as the laboratory testing received late yesterday afternoon came back above acceptable limits for Ecoli. The results for Edwards Beach were 260 colonies per 100 ml sample ( the Department of Public Health's limit is 235). The beach has been posted CLOSED and was re-tested yesterday, in duplicate.
