Stepinski Land Purchase and Byrne Avenue Water Line: State House Loan Note

Issue:  Finance Director will request BoS to sign State House Loan Note for the purchase of Stepinski Parcel and to pay costs of replacing and upgrading the water main in the Byrne Avenue area. Appropriations for both projects were approved at 2008 Annual Town Meeting.

Chapter 61A Notices

Laughton Parcel, Off Lowell Road (Parcel 86; Westford Assessors Map 32)

Issue: On February 25, 2008 BoS received a Chapter 61A notice from owner of Laughton parcel. Board of Selectmen will receive and discuss input from Town boards/committees and local land conservationorganizations regarding the Town’s rights of first refusal on this parcel. Purchase price of parcel is $3 million, contingent on Town purchasing an abutting non-classified parcel.

Habitat for Humanity- 18 Williams Ave Update

Issue: Dana Owens of Habitat For Humanity will provide an update on the construction of a single family dwelling at 18 Williams Avenue.

Rome Drive Petition
                
Issue: The Planning Board has referred to BoS a residents’ request for the Town to complete the construction of Rome Drive extension through betterment.
