3. 7:35PM Review of Debt Exclusion Language
Issue: The BoS has called a special election on September 4, 2007 for a debt exclusion vote for the Senior Center. The BoS needs to approve the ballot question.
4. 7:55PM Reuse of Old Highway Garage
Issue: Due to the lack of space in Town facilities, numerous Town departments have expressed an interest in the reuse of the former Highway Garage. At the last BoS meeting, the BoS directed the Town Manager to meet with interested
parties to negotiate a solution.
Town Manager Recommendation: A meeting was held with all interested parties on June 6, 2007. The following agreement was
reached:
School Department will receive 4.5 bays; Animal Control 1.5 bays, as well as Office space. Parks & Recreation Department will utilize the Town Farm Road Building and will have 3 bays at the
location for storage. All parties will obtain cost estimates and will seek a reserve fund transfer.
5. 8:10PM Hiring Freeze Waiver
a) Heavy Equipment Operator, Highway/Parks & Recreation Dept.
6. 8:15PM Cornerstone Square Review of Environmental Notification Form (ENF).
Issue: Comments on ENF for Cornerstone Square are due on June 22, 2007. The Planning board will be drafting their comments on June 18, 2007.
Town Manager Recommendation:
Bos consider attending the 6/18/07 Planning Board meeting. Staff comments will be available at that time and BoS can
finalize their position.
7. 8:20PM Consent Agenda
a) One Day license, Tyler Ride, July 14, 2007, VFW, 67 W. Prescott Street; 4:00-8:00PM.
b) Release of executive session meeting minutes from 1985-1989, with the exception of 6/10/86. 7/28/87, 8/6/87, 6/7/88 and 7/2/88.
c) Approval of Minutes-March 13, 2007, March 27, 2007, April 4, 2007.
