Meeting with Tree Warden to discuss proposed National Grid Tree Removal.
Issue:
On August 28, 2007, National Grid outlined their program of hazardous tree removal to the BoS. Of particular concern were trees on Boston Road and Main Street to the Chelmsford line. The Tree Warden would like to review the selected trees with the BoS. The Tree Warden has scheduled a public hearing on the trees for 8:00PM at the Millennium School. Under State law, should anyone voice opposition to the removal of a tree at the Tree Warden Hearing, the matter of removal will be brought before the BoS. The Tree Warden may be returning to the Selectmen this evening should opposition be voiced at this scheduled hearing.

Update on Town Hall Building/ Structural Issues
Issue:
On December 4th, the Building Commissioner revoked the Town Hall occupancy permit for Town Hall as support beams were in structural failure at certain points. All Town Hall offices have been moved to temporary locations. The Town Manager will update the BoS on the situation along with estimates of pertinent costs that are available by Tuesday evening. Donald Peach of Ipswich Engineering will also be present to answer any questions on the structural problems.

Selectmen to Review Facilities, Amenities, and Services Sub Committee Report to Comprehensive Master Plan Committee (CMPC).
Issue:
Jim Kottas of the Facilities, Amenities, and Services Subcommittee will be present to discuss their draft report and solicit BoS comments.
