North Beach Closed
As a result of laboratory testing obtained early this afternoon, the Westford Board of Health (BOH) has had to close North Beach due to an unacceptable level of bacteria. The BOH has posted CLOSED signs at the beach and has taken & delivered an additional sample to the testing laboratory.  The results of the re-sampling are expected back from the laboratory by late tomorrow afternoon.  The beach must remain closed until subsequent testing deems the water within acceptable limits (again, as confirmed by the laboratory).  

A re-opening notice will be sent via this notification system and it will also be posted on the BOH web page under Beach Testing.  Should you have any questions or concerns, please call the Health Department.
