Issue:
Marian McCurley will be present to review the draft Open Space and Recreation Technical paper and solicit BoS comments. This review is part of the Comprehensive Master Plan process.

Issue:
The BoS will continue to take positions on articles for the Special Town meeting. The BoS has recommended Articles 8, 9,14,15,16. Article sponsors have been invited. The BoS will also consider taking a position on the article of the STM within the Special Town Meeting.

Trash Collection Request, Sherburne Lane
Issue:
Residents of Sherburne Lane have requested curbside collection along Sherburne Lane as opposed toplacing their trash receptacles on the opposite side of Russell’s Way .The Town’s traffic safety officer has reviewed the situation and has recommended that the receptacles be placed on the Sherburne Lane side of Russell’s Way. The Town Manager concurs with thatrecommendation.

Request from Nashoba Valley Technical School District(NVTSD) to secure one cable station for broadcasting.
Issue:
The Town has received a request to dedicate one of the three access channels to NVTSD. EricaDavidson of WCAT has been invited to speak to this issue.

Issue:
The Zoning Board of Appeals has requested comments on the proposed Graniteville Woods 40B byOctober 11, 2007.

a) Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), Old Town Garage
Issue:
Town Counsel had recommended that a MOU between the Town and School Department be executed in regard to the use of the Old Town Garage. The Town Manager and School Superintendent have negotiated the agreement, Both BoS and School Committee are now requested to ratify and sign the agreement.

Issue:
The Town and Comprehensive Environmental Inc. (CEI) the Town’s consultants on perchlorate, have been verbally notified that the MASS Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) will be issuing a Notice of Responsibility (NOR) by the end of the week of October 1st.
g) Appointment to Negotiating Committee for Group A School Negotiations.
