The primary purpose of the Westford Police Department is to provide a high level of safety, security and service for all members of the community. As a regulatory agency of local government, the police department has the direct responsibility for the preservation of the public peace, for the reduction of the opportunity to commit crime, and for the effective delivery of a wide variety of police services. A large suburban society free from crime
and disorder remains an unachieved ideal. Nevertheless, consistent with the values of a free society, it is the primary objective of the Westford Police Department to as closely as possible approach that ideal.
The Police Department is open 24/7.
The Records Department is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
