Westford's 9th Annual Town Litter Cleanup Day April 19 & 20
Calling all Westford residents to help show community pride and honor Earth Day. The Westford Recycling Commission is sponsoring a Town Litter Cleanup Day Saturday, April 19 and 20. Select an area you think could use your attention, bring your family and friends and working together as a community we can clean up the debris accumulated through these long winter months. All bags can be disposed of in the dumpster that will be behind the Roudenbush Community Center for this weekend event. A final figure on the amount collected will be determined.
Brush & Branch Collection Saturday, April 19 & 26
Location: New Highway Garage, 28 North Street
The Westford Highway Department will conduct brush collections for the Recycling Commission on two Saturdays, April 19 and April 26, at the NEW Highway Garage, 28 North Street, from 10:30 AM - 4:30 PM. Must be average residential amounts only. No leaves, grass, roots, bushes, anything mixed with poison ivy, building materials or land clearing materials. Maximum size of branches and brush up to 3 inches in diameter and 10 feet long. Proof of residency required. $10 per load.
