Ambulance Task Force Exercise
Dear Resident:

On Wednesday, November 7, 2007, the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and Massachusetts Fire District 6 will be holding an emergency response exercise hosted by the Westford Fire Department.

This exercise will be testing the capability to respond a large number of ambulances to an incident anywhere in the Commonwealth.  At approximately 5:00 p.m. on the evening of the exercise, Fire Department and EMS service vehicles will be arriving at the Stony Brook School on Farmers Way to begin the drill.  At roughly 7:00 p.m. a large number of ambulances will begin to arrive in the parking lot and will remain there until 9:00 p.m.

There will be no “victims” at the school and nobody will be transported to a hospital. This is a resource mobilization exercise only and will not involve any children or school faculty.

I want to thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation while we hold this exercise, please feel free to contact us should you have any questions or concerns.

Sincerely

Fire Chief
