The Town of Westford Water Department is currently seeking applications for one alternate member for the Board of Water Commissioners. The Town Manager will appoint one Westford resident to serve a three-year term on the Board which is responsible for policy- making and consists of three full
time members and one alternate member. The Board meets on the first and third Wednesdays of each month at 5:30 pm at 60 Forge Village Road. The Alternate Member is required to attend meetings and participate in votes in the absence of one or more regular member(s).
Interested persons should complete a Citizen Activity Application form available online and at the Town Clerk’s office at 55 Main Street. Applications must be delivered to the Water Department by December 14, 2007. For more information, call the Water Department at 978-692-5529.
