Official Meeting Posting Board is now at the Police Station
While the Town Clerk's office is temporarily relocated in the Police Station training room, the official meeting posting board has also moved from Town Hall. Upcoming meetings and public hearing notices are now posted on the wall outside of the training room.
December curbside pickup of Nonburnable items is this Friday, December 15th.
The next curbside pickup for large nonburnable items (i.e., appliances, metal furniture, etc.) is scheduled for Saturday, December 15th. A $30 sticker is required per item from the Town Clerk’s Office, currently located at the Police Station. The deadline for the December pickup is NOON on Friday, December 14th. Check the Recycling Commission's website at westfordrecycles.org for other options.
2008 Dog Licenses are In!
What a lovely gift for the holidays - a shiny new tag for your favorite pooch(es)! All you need is a current rabies certificate (we will have the certificate you gave us last year on file) and $10 per dog. Owners 70 and over don't have to pay a thing, but we still need that current rabies certificate.
Overnight Parking Ban November through March
During the months of November, December, January, February and March no on-street parking is allowed between the hours of 1:00am and 6:00am for more than 1 hour, except for vehicles acting in an emergency.
The 2008 Presidential Primary has been scheduled for Tuesday, FEBRUARY 5, 2008
Absentee ballots should be available approx. three weeks prior to the election. Absentee ballot applications are available now.
If you are not yet a registered voter at your current address in Westford, please note that the voter registration and party enrollment change deadline for the February 5th Presidential Primary is Wednesday, January 16th at 8:00pm. Seventeen-year-olds who will be 18 by February 5th may register to vote before their 18th birthday but must do so by January 16th.
Call us for a mail-in vote registration form or stop by our office at the Police Station training room or any other Town/City Clerk's office in Massachusetts to register in person.
