Following up on one of the recommendations (Goal 4, Policy 4b) of the East Boston Camps Master Plan, the Conservation Commission is seeking to form an advisory group to meet on a periodic basis to discuss policy and operating issues affecting the East Boston Camps property and make recommendations to the Conservation Commission. As proposed in the Master Plan, the group would include representatives of the stakeholders, including the Board of Selectmen, Community Preservation Committee, Water Commission, Parks and Recreation Commission and Conservation Commission, and several
at large members with relevant interest and/or expertise. The Commission feels that it would be appropriate to have two resident members in this group. It is anticipated that to begin with the group would meet once a month (dates, time and place to be determined).
Therefore we would ask that any residents who are interested in participating submit a Citizen Activity Application Form by June 30. The form is available online or could be picked up the at the Town Clerk’s Office at the Police Station. Completed forms can be submitted online or returned to the Town Clerk’s Office.
